FEDEX Ski Team

The FedEx Ski Team is the racing arm of the FedEx Ski Club. The ski team races against the other airlines ski teams at two races during the ski week. The races are the slalom and the giant slalom. There are actually two FedEx Ski Teams. There is the "A" Team and the "B" Team. The difference between the teams is the difficulty level of the race course and the skill level of the skier. The "A" Team is the higher skill level. An "A" racer is a veteran racer who has a high skill level and is usually an expert skier. A "B" level racer usually has a skill level of an intermediate level or above. If you want a high octane race course you race "A" level. If you want a course that has challenge to it but is a little more racer friendly, you race "B" level. Most everybody starts at "B" level. For those who are new to ski racing and want to try it. There is a beginner’s race. You can get a taste of what racing is like. The team captain determines racer placement on the teams. Both male and female teams compete at both levels. Any ski club member is eligible to race on the ski team.
